colour.utilities.as_float_array(a)

Converts given \(a\) variable to ndarray using the type defined by colour.constant.DEFAULT_FLOAT_DTYPE attribute.

Parameters

a (object) – Variable to convert.

Returns

\(a\) variable converted to ndarray.

Return type

ndarray
