colour.utilities.tsplit¶
- colour.utilities.tsplit(a: Union[ArrayLike, NestedSequence[NumberOrArrayLike]], dtype: Optional[Union[Type[DTypeBoolean], Type[DTypeNumber]]] = None) NDArray [source]¶
Split given stacked array \(a\) along the last axis (tail) to produce an array of arrays.
It is used to split a stacked array produced by the
colour.utilities.tstack()
definition.- Parameters
a (Union[ArrayLike, NestedSequence[NumberOrArrayLike]]) – Stacked array \(a\) to split.
dtype (Optional[Union[Type[DTypeBoolean], Type[DTypeNumber]]]) –
numpy.dtype
to use for initial conversion tonumpy.ndarray
, default to thenumpy.dtype
defined bycolour.constant.DEFAULT_FLOAT_DTYPE
attribute.

Array of arrays.
