Define the Panalog log decoding curve / electro-optical transfer function.

Parameters:
  • y (FloatingOrArrayLike) – Non-linear data \(y\).

  • black_offset (FloatingOrArrayLike) – Black offset.

Returns:

Linear data \(x\).

Return type:

numpy.floating or numpy.ndarray

Warning

These are estimations known to be close enough, the actual log encoding curves are not published.
