Define the Hellwig and Fairchild (2022) colour appearance model specification.
This specification supports the Helmholtz-Kohlrausch effect extension from [HSF22].
- Parameters:
J (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Correlate of Lightness \(J\).
C (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Correlate of chroma \(C\).
h (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Hue angle \(h\) in degrees.
s (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Correlate of saturation \(s\).
Q (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Correlate of brightness \(Q\).
M (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Correlate of colourfulness \(M\).
H (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Hue \(h\) quadrature \(H\).
HC (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Hue \(h\) composition \(H^C\).
J_HK (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Correlate of Lightness \(J_{HK}\) accounting for Helmholtz-Kohlrausch effect.
Q_HK (Optional[Union[float, NDArrayFloat]]) – Correlate of brightness \(Q_{HK}\) accounting for Helmholtz-Kohlrausch effect.
